March was officially the “Kidney Month.” So, let us continue the discussion of perhaps one of the crucial organs of the human body, the Kidneys. People know Kidneys as the filter of the Human body. The primary responsibility of Kidneys is to filter waste from the body. However, that is not all. Kidneys function for other responsibilities as well. “Kidney Month” resulted in millions of people across the globe to take a look at why Kidneys are called as the “Wonder Organs.”
- Helps in Blood Pressure: Kidneys are known to regulate Blood Pressure. Blood Pressure is a serious illness. Every two out three people suffer from High Blood Pressure. Sodium is known to fuel Blood Pressure in our Body. Kidneys help in maintaining the levels of Sodium. Proper levels of Sodium in the body ensure the Blood Pressure is at the desired level.
